Scholarship...
How come the fad now adays is to attack Christianity that the Bible is borrowed from other stuff, etc? Its a fad too, not scholarship, because it seems they start with the premise that these things were borrowed, and then they try to draw parallals suposedly backing their claims or strengtheing the premise... when in fact it seems to be only a premise. *yawn*...

"Fad" and "scholarship"---- isn't that an oxymoron? hehe, you have a point - "crazy world, isn't it?"
Yeah, you would think so... The issues that scholars discuss often have a trend though, following one "hot" topic. I think currently it is Aids, or at the moment transitioning into something else. It certainly is the popular thing to discredit the Bible or Christianity in general, although not restricted to the Academic community as others such as Dan Brown have taken up the task.
There's something exhilarating about tottering on the "edge" of something...until one falls off.
